Omar Marmoush: The Offensive Solution City Needed?

Egyptian forward Omar Marmoush, currently with Eintracht Frankfurt, is close to being announced as Manchester City's newest signing. 

According to reliable sources, including renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, negotiations between the two clubs are progressing rapidly, with an agreement expected to be finalized next week.

Marmoush, who had previously been linked to rivals Liverpool, is seen by Guardiola as the ideal replacement for Julián Álvarez, who was recently sold to Atlético Madrid for £82 million. 

The Egyptian has stood out for his skill as a striker, and his arrival could offer a new dynamic to City's attack, which has struggled with a lack of offensive options.

Abdukodir Khusanov: The Defender Who Could Make History

In addition to Marmoush, another name that is nearly confirmed is Uzbek defender Abdukodir Khusanov, currently playing for Lens. Romano has already given his famous "here we go" for the transfer, indicating that everything is set. 

Khusanov will undergo medical tests in the coming days and is expected to sign a contract until June 2029, with an option for a one-year extension.

Khusanov's transfer marks a historic moment as he is set to become the first footballer from Uzbekistan to compete in the Premier League. Manchester City is investing €40 million in the young defender, with the potential for additional payments through performance-based bonuses. 

Known for his playing style that aligns well with Guardiola's tactical preferences, Khusanov faces the challenge of quickly adapting to the intensity and demands of English football at just 20 years old.

Vitor Reis Is Next on the Radar

Another player catching City's attention is young Brazilian defender Vitor Reis from Palmeiras. Although negotiations are still in their early stages, the Manchester club has already made a formal offer and is willing to loan the player back to Palmeiras until the end of the Club World Cup. 

However, Palmeiras does not intend to accept less than £30 million for the 18-year-old talent, making negotiations challenging.
